How To Accomplish Your Purpose With Confidence

How To Accomplish Your Purpose With Confidence

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

John 8:3

This is the year of freedom for every area of our life–freedom is God’s will!  The area of bondage we are set free from will be the very thing God will use to elevate us.  Jesus already shed His blood and paid the price for our freedom when He bore our sin, sickness, shame, and rejection on Calvary.  Jesus said, “It is finished!”  However, we still have to fight the good fight of faith against an enemy who is here to steal, kill, and destroy.  Our fight is from a position of victory Jesus already won for us!

1. Faith Agreement

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”.

Matthew 9:29

Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Luke 7:50

Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Matthew 15:28

We receive God’s promises not just because it is His will and He is able, but because there was an agreement of faith according to the scriptures above.  If we are going to walk in all that God has for us, it has to be in our heart, in our mouth, in our action, how we operate, and how we believe and expect His blessings to manifest in our life.

2. Believe Until We Win

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

1 John 4:4

We are not letting off no matter what it looks like, and no matter what it feels like.  We stay on until we receive it–we play until we win!  We keep going, we keep fighting, we keep believing, and we stay in the good fight of faith  Jesus is in our corner and He is fighting with us and for us.   We are winners!

3. Understanding Destination Triumph

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

The cloud of witnesses this scripture is referring to are the heroes of the faith that went before us blazing a trail where there was no trail.  God gave them a dream, a vision, an assignment, and by faith they arrived at their destination triumphantly and are now in heaven cheering us on.  Because they are watching and cheering us on, we better get on with it, not sitting back and waiting for it to come.  We have a dream, we have a vision, we have an assignment, then we move forward which is faith in action.  We are winning souls and making disciples for the Kingdom of God, we are bringing freedom to this generation, we are prospering, and we are raising our children in the house of God.

4. Don’t Die In Failure

We strip down every weight, and the sin that easily ensnares us, and we start running our race, and we never quit.  Once we are set free from our bondage we start running with our freedom and start helping other people find their freedom as we blaze a trail toward our destination whatever that may be: our dream, our vision, our assignment, our promised land.

FINAL THOUGHTS

We receive God’s promises not just because it is His will and He is able, but because there was an agreement of faith.

God moves when we move; God steps out when we step out.

Our fight is from a position of victory Jesus already won for us!

We keep going, we keep fighting, we keep believing, and we stay in the good fight of faith.
