Break The Limits In Your Life
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23
Whatever the condition our heart is in will determine the course, the limitations, the borders, and the restrictions of our life. If we are going to go far in life, it doesn’t matter if there are haters and it doesn’t matter what we have gone through. We are going to decree and declare there are no limits to the power of God, and we are going to allow Him to take us as far and as high as He wants to take us.

1. You Prosper As Your Soul Prospers
The direction in our life will go in our most dominant thoughts. If we want growth and expansion in our life, it does not come from the outside in, it comes from the inside out. Some of us may have started off in this life getting the short end of the stick; however, the brilliance of God’s redemption is not how we start, it is how we finish in this life because with God, He makes all things possible.
“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”
Hebrews 4:2
2. Developing An Unlimited Mentality
Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
Numbers 13:30-33
Allow God to begin breaking the walls of intimidation, insecurity, abuse, failure, etc. off of your life. Joshua and Caleb did not allow the giants in the land stop them from entering into their promised land because they knew that no matter what the enemy said, their God is able. There is nothing too hard for our God. So be careful what and who you listen to. Words are not just words, words carry a spirit, they carry imagination, they carry unbelief, or belief in God.
3. The Process
There are always going to be giants on this faith journey to our promised land. Our issue is not the giants, the issue is our heart, our mind, and what we believe in. We all come out of a life rebellious to God. No matter what extreme our life traumas were, whatever brokenness God found us in, He will put all of our pieces back together again.
See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
Jeremiah 1:10
God has to first get rid of the mess of our past before He builds a masterpiece. He will take us through a process of consecration, a refining of character, the uprooting of those strongholds from the enemy that kept us in bondage. He will heal us from the sickness of our mind and our soul.
4. Weapons of Warfare
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
This scripture implies a war, but this war is fought in our mind–the battle is within us. We take captive and demolish all those spiritual arguments with our past, with the enemy, everything that contradicts the Word of God, and we make it obey the purpose of God. We are taking insecurity and intimidation captive, and we are going to dethrone it and disarm it with the Word of God.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
If God’s Word says it, we must believe it, then we receive it. It doesn’t matter what that reflection in the mirror tells us, all those insecurities, or all those fears. We must let the Word of God speak to us, renew our minds, and conquer every battle in our lives whether they are inside our head or outside. God will do what He has promised us as long as we don’t lean on our own understanding, acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our path to our promised land.

Final Thoughts

Allow God to begin breaking the walls of intimidation, insecurity, abuse, failure, etc off of your life.
We take captive and demolish all those spiritual arguments with our past, with the enemy, everything that contradicts the Word of God and we make it obey the purpose of God.
