How To Expand In God’s Kingdom

How To Expand In God’s Kingdom

All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.

Genesis 13:15

Expansion in God’s Kingdom begins with vision. Before Abraham ever possessed the land, God caused him to see it. In the same way, if we are going to expand, we must first align our sight, our faith, and our obedience with what God has already promised. Expansion does not begin outwardly; it begins inwardly, by faith.

1. See God Without Limits

God took Abraham outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Expansion starts by recognizing that God is limitless. God invited Abraham to look beyond what was measurable and natural so he could embrace what was possible through faith. When we see God as He truly is, unlimited in power and promise, our faith begins to rise. We expand when we choose to believe what God says, even when it stretches our understanding.

2. Write The Vision

Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakuk 2:3-4

When we write down our vision it is for the purpose of seeing and focusing on what God wants us to do–the vision He has given us.  If we can see the invisible we can believe God for the impossible.  Nothing is impossible with God because He has no limits.  All we have to do is believe in Him and keep pressing forward until we are walking in that vision no matter how long it takes, how long it tarries, because it will speak in the end.

3. Guard Your Imagination With Faith

There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Numbers 13:33

Expansion can be hindered when imagination is shaped by fear instead of faith. The Israelites allowed what they saw to override what God said. To expand, we must guard our thoughts and imagination, choosing to see ourselves through God’s promises rather than through opposition or circumstances. Faith-filled vision keeps us moving forward.

4.   Keep Dreaming the Dreams of Heaven

What we think about, what we see in our heart, and what we see with our spiritual eyes will either limit us or bring us into our promised land, and into our year of expansion.  We have to make that decision: are we going to believe God, receive His vision for our life, and walk in it?  Or, are we going to believe in the lies of the enemy which are always the antithesis of God’s promises?  When we choose to trust God’s vision above every other voice, we position ourselves to walk into the fullness of what He has prepared.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Expansion in God’s Kingdom begins by seeing what God sees and believing what He has spoken.

As we clarify the vision, guard our faith, and stay focused on God’s promises, we move forward with confidence.

When we hold firmly to heaven’s vision, God leads us into our promised land and a life of continual increase.
