How to Get a Word From God by Faith
The word of the Lord releases abundance, direction, and miracles. Everything in the Kingdom of God begins with a revealed word. When God speaks, it carries the power to transform situations, shift atmospheres, and bring His will from Heaven into the earth.
1. Become Heaven-Minded
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:9-10
Heaven is more real than what we see with our natural eyes. It’s a place overflowing with life, joy, abundance, and the presence of God. There is no sickness, no lack, no fear, and no failure there. When we become heaven-minded, our faith lifts to a higher level.
Being heaven-minded shifts our perspective. Abundance stops being about what we can collect for ourselves and becomes about advancing God’s Kingdom. It is about bringing Heaven’s reality into our homes, our communities, and our world. God’s desire is for His will in Heaven to be fully seen and manifested in our lives on earth.
2. Get a Revealed Word
Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
Amos 3:7
Before God moves, He speaks. He reveals His plan through His Word and by His Spirit. A rhema word—a quickened, living word from God—is more than information; it is revelation. It carries faith, clarity, and divine permission for what God intends to do.
When God’s Word is revealed, it becomes the seed of the miracle. His revealed Word brings direction, unlocks timing, and establishes confidence that what He has spoken will surely come to pass. Just as the prophets of old carried God’s voice, the Holy Spirit now quickens His Word in our hearts so we can step into His plans.
3. Receive Miracles From God

Psalm 119:18
Every miracle begins with a word from God. As we read Scripture, pray, worship, or even go about everyday tasks, the Holy Spirit can speak a rhema word that brings life and direction. That word becomes like a spiritual blank check—evidence that Heaven has already authorized the breakthrough.
Once we receive His Word, we hold onto it in faith, speaking it, meditating on it, and acting on it. The laws of faith go into motion, and it is only a matter of time before what was spoken in the spirit becomes visible in the natural.
4. Live By Faith
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
Ephesians 1:18-19
The Christian life is not about being guided by feelings, but by faith—faith in the Word God reveals. To live by faith is to live fully confident that what God has spoken, He will perform.
When our hearts are enlightened by revelation, we step into God’s wisdom, see His plans more clearly, and walk in supernatural power. Living by faith positions us to experience the miraculous, because faith receives what grace has already provided.
