How To Walk In Abundance

How To Walk In Abundance

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Galatians 3:13-14

By the power of The Cross, we have been redeemed from every curse. However, the enemy will try to war against our faith for this freedom.  He surely does not want us to walk in this power because his assignment is to steal, kill, and destroy. This is why it is vital we know what belongs to us from the victory on that Cross through Christ Jesus!

1. Fight the Good Fight

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12

The power of the Cross is our weapon we fight with when Satan wages war against us.  We are fighting a good fight of faith as we stand in a place of victory as God’s sons and daughters because of that Cross.  Three powerful words proclaim this–It is finished!

2. Live in the Blessing

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John 2

We are Abraham’s heir which means God’s promise to him belongs to us, too! God loves us and wants us to prosper in every area of our life: family, mentally, financially, physically, etc.  On the Cross Jesus bore the curse of us living in any type of lack; He became poor so that we might become rich.  Rich means abundantly supplied for and having more than enough so we can be a blessing to others. This is the blessing of Abraham which belongs to us.

3. Joy of Abundance

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.

1 Timothy 6:17

God wants us to enjoy every blessing He gives us. He is our Father, and He loves us. Never forget this! However, our motive and focus for abundance should not only be for our enjoyment, but we are blessed to be a blessing to all the families of the earth.

4. Seed Time and Harvest

Give, and it will be given to you. A good amount will be poured into your lap. It will be pressed down, shaken together, and running over. The same amount you give will be measured out to you.”

Luke 6:38

As we sow into God’s Kingdom, wether financially, with our time, our energy, etc, we are actively releasing our faith. As we give, we also receive. God’s will is for us to prosper so by releasing our faith, we are trusting in Him.  His ultimate desire is to move us into abundance so we can have more than enough to supply not only our needs but also help others.
