How To Receive God’s Joy and Freedom By Faith

How To Receive God’s Joy and Freedom By Faith

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:38

The Bible says the just shall live by faith alone.  Everything we receive from God is by our faith.  This Jubilee year will be the best year of our lives because we walk by faith, and not by our feelings or our sight.  Faith reaches for the blessings of God, receives it, takes it, and pulls those blessings down from the spirit world into the natural world.  Faith is what pleases God and moves mountains.

1. Faith and Patience

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-7

When we spend vital time in His presence, we learn to hear His voice, that inner conscience or intuition to discern His guidance.  We first hear the Word of God, we believe it, receive it, declare it, and then there is a waiting period–faith and patience. Our faith journey is one step and one day at a time.

2. Unexpected Blessings

God will give us instructions along the way.  When we start obeying Him, blessings and favor begin to show up in our life.  Things we didn’t see coming, things that were not in our plan, not even on our calendar: unexpected raise, unexpected job, unexpected opportunity, unexpected contract, etc.   We honor God as we expect the unexpected.

3. Time of Reset

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19

Reset is when God does a new thing.  When He wants to do something new, then something old has to be put aside.  He is also allowing us to start over.  The year that some things have to stop because something new will start: a fresh start, a new beginning.  We all need a little bit of reset in some area of our lives.  However, we may have to first deal with the fear of letting go of the old.

4. Trusting In God’s Process

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Hebrews 13:5-6

Once we realize how much God loves us, we won’t be constantly drawing back in fear.  We won’t be thinking what if He doesn’t come through for me.  Because God loves us, He will keep us afloat and He will see us through.  Because He loves us, we are willing to let the dead bury the dead.   Because He loves us, we are willing to forgive and to forget.   Because He loves us, we are willing to step out of our comfort zone and trust in Him to guide us to our promised land!

When we start obeying Him, blessings and favor begin to show up in our life.

Once we realize how much God loves us, we won’t be constantly drawing back in fear. Reset requires letting go of the old to make room for the new.
