Live In Abundance
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
If there’s any stealing, killing, or destruction happening in your life, you can be sure it’s not from God—it’s from the enemy. But the good news is this: Jesus already came to give us life and life more abundantly. That means we don’t accept the enemy’s plan. We reject it, renounce it, and close every door to him. We want God’s life—the overflowing, abundant life that belongs to us in Christ.

1. God’s Promise of Abundance
The words of John 10:10 are written in red—directly spoken by Jesus. That makes them unshakable truth. Jesus didn’t come just to save us from sin, but also to give us abundant life here and now. This isn’t up for debate. It’s not something to argue with ourselves or the enemy about. Abundance is part of the finished work of the cross. What Jesus promised is guaranteed—and His words are as good as gold.
2. What Abundance Really Means
We are to do whatever we have to do to align our mind, thoughts, lifestyle, and our world with God’s word so we can receive His promise of abundance. We are receiving a super abundance, excessive, overflowing, surplus, over and above, more than enough, and an extraordinary abundance from our Heavenly Father. This is His desire for all of His children.
3. The Heart of Abundance
And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.
Exodus 34:6
Abundance is who God is. From the Garden of Eden to the promise of heaven, God’s nature is always “more than enough.” He overflows with love, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. Every morning when we wake up, His mercies are new. He gave His only Son so we could have eternal life. This is what abundance looks like—it’s the very essence of God’s character.
4. The Purpose of Abundance
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Genesis 12:1-3
When God blessed Abraham, He didn’t stop there. He said, “You will be a blessing… and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” God blesses us so His goodness can flow through us. Abundance is never meant to stay with us—it’s meant to move through us. The world is hungry for hope, love, peace, and provision. And God wants to use His people—you and me—to carry His abundance into a hurting world.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Abundance belongs to us and Jesus paid the price on that cross for us to live in God’s abundance.
We are to do whatever we have to do to align our mind, thoughts, lifestyle, and our world with God’s word so we can receive His promise of abundance.
Abundance is the character and nature of God.
