How To Start Your Year With Joy
Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan.
Leviticus 25:9-10
The trumpet sounded announcing and proclaiming across the land a prophecy from God that it would be a Jubilee year! We are to proclaim over our life and our family’s life this prophecy of Jubilee.

1. Our Confession
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:1-3
Let us confess daily the Jubilee promises of God for every area and every situation in our lives. The Bible is clear when it says we will have what we say and the words we speak will carry life or death. Our words will either agree with God (life) or they will agree with Satan (death). The earth was created by the words God spoke; therefore, the words we speak will create our future because we were made in the image of God. It is not enough to just hear the prophecy of Jubilee, but we have to, with our words spoken, agree by proclaiming it.
2. Wait Expectantly
We may not see the promises of jubilee right away; however, once we speak it daily, we activate Heaven. We are creating a pool of joy over our life even though we are living in the contradiction of those jubilee promises. We are not waiting for the promises to arrive to have joy; we are living expectantly with joy knowing those promises are on the way. Joy and jubilee is ours every day and for the rest of our life. Once we proclaim our jubilee promise, heaven begins working on our behalf behind the scenes for those promises to manifest in our life. We first begin by believing in our heart, then speaking those jubilee promises over our life daily, and lastly, wait expectantly.
3. Receive The Oil of Joy
True joy does not come from the world; it only comes from God Almighty. The oil of joy is our strength and melts away depression and anxiety. Receive His joy today no matter what it feels or looks like. Have faith in God only and in His promises. Put a smile on your face knowing that God is good and He does not lie. What He says, He will do!
4. Get Spiritual Clarity
We believe then receive and allow His joy to flow like a river through our life knowing His promises belong to us and those promises will manifest in our life no matter how long it takes. As we begin to rest in the joy of God’s jubilee promises, we are allowing Him to restore us, give us spiritual rest, and clarity allowing Him to guide and navigate us to our promised land!
