The Power of Heaven’s Burden
So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
Exodus 3:8
There is power in a burden! God had placed a burden on Moses to rescue His people from the Egyptians, pluck them from the darkness of slavery, and bring them into their promised land.
But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.
Isaiah 49:25
The plunder the Lord is proclaiming in this scripture is from the oppressive powers of the demonic spirits of the bondage of addiction. There are many bondages, many addictions too many to list. We are going to take back from the enemy and God will save all of our children! This is the burden of heaven!
1. Satan’s Trophies
Captives to Satan’s bondage, whatever that bondage may be, are his trophies, including death and destruction. These are the very things that make him happy: to kill, steal, and destroy! He is trying to take captive entire generations through our children. This is why there is so much corruption that has infiltrated our schools with perverted ideologies completely against God’s kingdom order. These ideologies are birthed from the mind of Satan. But God says He is going to fight those who fight against us, and He will save all of our children! Rejoice because we have God on our side, and we will work with Him and win the battle!
2. Power Of A Burden
We can be living our best life, doing good and reaping the benefits of God’s goodness; however, in the midst of goodness we must carry a burden for the lost. This is God’s burden and although He desires for us to prosper and live that good life, He also desires His message is spread for all to hear it. We are His vessels that He is depending on to work with Him and carry out the Great Commission of saving souls and making disciples! Let us never forget how God snatched us out of the flames of hell through praying loved ones, no matter how deep in sin we were. It is our turn to pass on this freedom from sin which is by spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must carry this burden until we take our last breath and step into heaven. Allow God to brand our hearts with the pain and suffering of the lost so we never stray from the burden of Heaven!
3. Power of God’s Grace
We are living in difficult times, chaotic times, and we must carry a burden for souls. There is no life, no past, too far gone for His grace and this should fuel our burden for souls. We have the answer the world is looking for and His grace and mercy is sufficient to get this job done. I pray God, today, will give you the greatest gift for the burden of the lost souls.
4. The Promised Land
Not only does God want to bring us out of Egypt, He also wants to take us into our promised land. This is a land flowing with milk and honey! God will take us from trauma to triumph; from pain to promise. We all have past traumas and pain, but we must not stay there, we must allow God to free us from the lies of our past and walk us into our promised land. God can take what we went through in our past and somehow, someway, if you trust in Him, and serve Him, He will take all the negative the enemy meant to destroy you, and He will turn it around and use it to bless somebody else.
