The Year of Joy and Jubilee
Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields. In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to their own property.
Leviticus 25:9-13
Jubilee means a year of emancipation and restoration. A year of supernatural debt cancellation, freedom from bondage, properties will be returned, and people will reconcile with one another, and with God Almighty.
1. Total Rest and Restoration
Rest is part of the jubilee blessing which means God is now going to fight for us. He knows we have been fighting for Him through all the enemy’s fiery darts. He asks us to rest so He can now fight for us! He will show us how much He can fight for us. All the toil we have endured for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ are seeds planted into His kingdom. Now, it is time to reap what we have sowed.
2. The Justice of God
“You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
2 Chronicles 20:17
Things that have been lingering and bringing a heaviness are coming to an end. Remember, our enemy is never people, they are spirits who use people as vessels to move their dark agendas forward. Whatever enemy has come against us, in 2025 we will see the justice of God in this Jubilee Year. Our enemies will become God’s enemies.
3. Jubilee Reset Year
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14
We get to reset, restart fresh, and start all over. The jubilee year is the year of the Lord’s favor, the year He will fight for us as we hold our peace and remain at rest. All of this is available for us every day because Jesus is our jubilee. Yet, there are times when God prophetically puts a spotlight on something He wants us to believe for or on something He wants to do in our life.
4. Power of Our Proclamations
Start the year emphasizing the word God is speaking to you; the things He wants to do in your life. The words we speak have power to bring those things into existence. Then we carry this through the year, living it, establishing it, seeing the results, and building our foundation of faith and victory.
Final Thoughts
2025 is a year of Joy and Jubilee!
We agree with God’s prophetic word for us in 2025 and walk in it.
The joy of the Lord is our strength, and we will be strong in 2025!
