How To Win The War In Our Mind
If you are in the midst of a spiritual battle and wondering why, understand a spiritual truth; before a breakthrough comes, we will experience the greatest spiritual battles. We never give up no matter how intense the battle, and we always stay in faith. We hold firm to our confessions continuing to obey God, and that breakthrough will show up. When it shows up it will glorify God!
1. Living in Peace Through Christ
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
We are not called to live stressed—we are called to live in peace. Jesus has already overcome the world, and through Him, we can walk in calm assurance, no matter what comes our way. Peace begins in the mind, and God’s Word gives us everything we need to keep our thoughts full of faith. Instead of trying to fix everything, we can rest in knowing that God is already working on our behalf. Fear has no place in a heart that is grounded in truth—when we stay focused on Jesus, His peace will guard our hearts and minds every step of the way.
2. Advancing in Faith
Faith empowers us to rise above what we see and feel, anchoring us in the truth of God’s Word. As we hold fast to His promises, fear loses its grip and peace takes its place. God’s Word fills us with boldness to move forward, confident that victory is already ours in Christ. With every step of faith, we walk closer into all God has prepared for us.
3. Stand Strong in God’s Promises
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
Jesus came to give you life—and life more abundantly. Faith in His Word is your unshakable foundation, no matter what comes your way. When you stand firm in what God has promised, you move forward in strength, knowing nothing can stop what He has already begun in you. Victory is certain when your faith stays anchored in Him.
4. Victorious in Thought and Spirit
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
It is in our mind where the faith battle against darkness takes place–our thought life. When we control our mind we can control our thought life; therefore, we can control the direction of our life. Your mind is powerful when it’s renewed by the Word of God. As you align your thoughts with truth, you unlock the freedom and direction God designed for you. You are fully equipped with divine weapons to walk in victory, demolish every lie, and move boldly toward the abundant life God has prepared. Each step of faith gives Him glory and leads you closer to your promised land.
